Captains' Welcome
We are greatly honoured to be elected as your Captains and to lead such a vibrant Club in 2022. We were both particularly taken by all the good wishes received from members for a very successful year and look forward to working with the Men's and Ladies' Committees to deliver a full golfing and social programme throughout the coming season.
We would like to extend a warm welcome to all our new members and hope they can quickly settle in and enjoy the golf and social life at this great club.
We are very fortunate to enter office at a time when we appear to be winning the battle with the Covid -19 pandemic, enabling restrictions to be relaxed in our Clubhouse, which in turn will allow us to resume social events and allow all members to make the most of the great facilities that we enjoy. In particular we urge members to consider our fantastic facilities with a spacious restaurant / bar area for family events or corporate entertainment. Our committee room is also available for business meetings. We have a great range of packages available. By using the club facilities more, you will help to make the club stronger.
On the golfing front, we have a very busy fixtures diary comprising club golf, club matchplay and inter-club competitions for all categories in the season ahead and are hopeful that, in 2022, Royal Tara can build on the successes of our teams in 2021. We particularly encourage more members to put their names forward and participate in these great experiences.
It is rewarding to see Junior Golf thriving in the at Royal Tara under the leadership of our Junior Convenors and a Beginners Golf Programme for adults will be repeated again this year.
We both look forward to seeing you all on the fairways or in the clubhouse throughout the coming season.
Bob and Regina
Captains
Royal Tara Golf Club.
