In 1968 a new clubhouse was constructed, the original structure having outlived its usefulness. This clubhouse was extended several times in the mid 1970s, in 1977 Adam Whiston, was appointed and a professional's shop was built.

In 1989 additional land was purchased and construction of a new 18-hole course, designed by Des Smyth, was started. This new course was built on the new land and also on the land occupied by the old front nine. The old back nine remains intact. The new course was officially opened in 1995. In 1998 it was decided to construct a new 2-storey clubhouse. Construction began on this, the club's third clubhouse on the Bellinter site, in the summer of 1999. This new clubhouse was officially opened in the summer of 2000.
